CAREGIVER FOR CHILD

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and care for child in employer’s own residence
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Administer any medication as required by the family physician when necessary.
• Bathe and dress the child.
• Organize and supervise playtime.
• Supervise naptime.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Accompany the parents and the child on medical appointments when necessary
• Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary School certificate
• Clean record (criminal record check required)
• Personal Skills: Reliable. Honest. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Patient. Experience caring for young children.
