Factory Maintenance Worker (2 Positions)
Delcato Foods is seeking reliable and motivated Factory Maintenance Workers to support the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of production equipment and facility infrastructure. Successful candidates will work closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure continuous and efficient operations across all departments.
Job Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment and machinery
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and support repair activities
- Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
- Replace or repair worn or damaged parts, including basic mechanical components
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and work areas
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime
- Support production teams in ensuring equipment operates efficiently
- Follow all health, safety, and food sanitation standards within the facility
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Compensation and Work Conditions
- Full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week
- Annual salary of $38,000
- Work location: 30 Dohme Avenue, Toronto, ON, M4B 1Y9
- Physically demanding; standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and manual handling
- Work in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments
