Store Supervisor

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
• Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints or inquiries.
• Handle escalated customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with the management to replenish merchandise based on sales trends and customer demand.
• Maintain the store’s visual appearance by ensuring displays are well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Implement merchandising strategies to highlight promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal trends.
• Manage cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and balancing transactions.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance & inventory levels.

Specific Job Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 7-12 months experience in a retail or customer service role is required. Supervisory experience in a similar work setting is desired.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills in English language.
