Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, bacon, sausages, and hash browns.
• Ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly portioned.
• Cooking eggs to various styles (e.g., sunny-side-up, scrambled, over-easy) based on customer preferences.
• Properly storing and handling ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
• Managing multiple orders simultaneously and ensuring that all dishes are prepared and plated in a timely manner.
• Keeping the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Regularly cleaning cooking surfaces, grills, and fryers to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean kitchen.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or issues to the management team.
• Monitoring inventory levels of breakfast ingredients and notifying the restaurant manager when supplies need to be replenished.

Specific Job Requirements

• 4-6 months of restaurant experience in cooking breakfast dishes such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, bacon, sausages and similar breakfast items.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with other kitchen staff, servers, and customers.
