Gas Station Supervisor

Job Description

You are entrusted with providing our customers with an excellent shopping experience, all while operating the day to day activities of the gas station/convenience store. It is also of utmost importance to adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols outlined. The ideal candidate must be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

• Operate cash register
• Provide advice about merchandise
• Provide friendly customer service
• Ensure safe sale of age-restricted products, i.e. Lotto & Tobacco
• Maintain sales records for inventory control
• Stocking inventory
• Assist in display of merchandise
• Maintaining cleanliness of store and surrounding gas site
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Order merchandise
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Requirements:

• Previous convenience store/gas station experience – Preferred
• Have your own transportation – Preferred
• Candidates must live in Canada
• High School Diploma

Job Types: Permanent

Salary: $21.00 to $22.50 per hour

• Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
• OLG sales: 1 year (preferred)
