Wages: $16.55 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
 
Vacation:4% of the gross salary
 
Hours of Work: 32-44 hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week
 
Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing a friendly and efficient service experience
  • Operating the cash register, handling transactions, and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures
  • Preparing and assembling food items according to Tim Hortons’ standards and recipes. This may involve tasks such as making sandwiches, bagels, donuts, and other baked goods.
  • Brewing coffee, preparing specialty drinks, and ensuring beverages are made to customer specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces. Following proper food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Restocking supplies, ingredients, and food items as needed. Monitoring inventory levels and notifying management when items need to be replenished.
  • Taking orders and handling transactions for customers using the drive-thru window, maintaining efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations and providing support when needed
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring that food items are prepared and presented according to Tim Hortons’ quality standards
Requirements:
  • Secondary school education is required.
  • Requires basic communication skills in English, ability to take customer orders and take directions from the Shift supervisor/Manager.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
