Salary:                        $16.00 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.

Vacation:                    4% of the gross salary

Hours of Work:          35.0-40.0 Hours a week.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizza and other menu food items in an expedient manner according to the specifications
• Set up station and keep station stocked before, during and after shifts
• Prep dough and ingredients for preparing the food items
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas and ensure that all ingredients & kitchen adhere to our safety standards and health standards.
• Monitor load times in pizza oven
• Estimate food requirements and costs and ensure there are adequate supplies for forthcoming days
• Order supplies and equipment
• Adhere to portion controls consistently

Job Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• On the job training will be provided to candidates willing to learn and work. The training provided will be paid.
• Food preparation and food handling experience is desired.
• The ability to follow standardized recipes.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic communication skills in English language to follow instructions and read order receipts.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
